Meta Tags
The <meta> tag defines metadata about an HTML document. This metadata is not displayed on the page, but is machine-readable. It is used by browsers to determine how to display content or reload a page, by search engines to identify keywords, and by other web services (w3schools, 2019).
Taking an example of a website https://www.boohoo.com/. We can view the source page and the meta tags of the website.
